Another rise in Bitcoin to $ 8,000

Already $8,000 and this is not the limit!

Bitcoin has given its investors a Christmas miracle – since yesterday, the rate of the first cryptocurrency has risen to $8,000, overcoming several resistance points. As of today, at 10:41, bitcoin was trading at $8,305 according to CoinGecko. Crypto traders note key indicators that indicate further growth (the formation of a bullish cross by 50- and 200-day moving averages and the Bollinger bands indicator). Let's see if these predictions come true or if the traders just had too much alcohol for the holidays).

On the night of January 7, dad-coin was pleasantly surprised by rising from $7,500 to $8,000 in less than 4 hours. But, for further growth, the cue ball must overcome key resistance levels by approximately $9,000 and $10,000.

Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz links the growth of BTC with the geopolitical situation in the world. He expressed the view that gold and bitcoin are rising due to the conflict on the Middle East:

«The more I analyse the Iranian situation, the more I become confident in the growth of gold and bitcoin».

Recall that on January 3, the United States attacked Baghdad airport, as a result of which General Qassem Soleimani was killed. In addition to digital and real gold, at the same time, oil and the Japanese yen rose in price.

Good times are coming for the crypto industry (pah-pah, so as not to jinx it), but the rate of $1 million is still far away. Therefore, the scandalous crypto enthusiast John McAfee began to deny his promises. He previously promised to eat his penis if bitcoin didn't reach $1 million by the end of 2020. Now the gourmet admitted that this was a ploy that worked and said that he was not going to fulfil the promise.

The whole world is waiting for the realisation of his word of honour. But what could we expect? Is this the first lie to raise the hype in the financial world?
