Cryptocurrency exchange in Dubai

If you're reading this, you probably already have crypto and need to do something with it in Dubai. Or you want to buy some. Either way, you need an exchange that won't waste your time or mess with the rate halfway through. That's us. Coin24 is a crypto exchange in Dubai that handles BTC, USDT and ETH — cash and bank transfers, your pick. We have a real office. You can walk in. The support number connects to actual people.

Where to exchange cryptoin Dubai

Dubai has a ton of options for exchanging crypto. On paper. In practice, a lot of them are Telegram channels, unlicensed desks, or online-only setups where you send your coins and then just... hope for the best.

We've been hearing the same complaints from clients for years now. Rate looked good online, changed when they showed up. Transaction was supposed to take 20 minutes, turned into a whole afternoon. Support vanished after the money was sent. It's a recurring theme.

Coin24 works differently and it's not rocket science. We show you the rate. It comes from aggregated market data, not from someone's head. You agree to it, you send the crypto, we give you the money. Cash or transfer. Fifteen to thirty minutes, usually closer to fifteen for USDT trades. For big amounts we do appointments — you call ahead, we set it up, and the rate is typically better because of the volume.

That's basically it. Not trying to reinvent anything here, just trying to do the basics right in a market where a lot of places don't.

Cryptocurrencies available for exchange in Dubai

We focus on three coins. They cover pretty much everything our clients need: USDT (Tether), BTC (Bitcoin), ETH (Ethereum). Need something else — ask when you submit the request and we'll let you know if it's available.

USDT exchange

Tether is by far the most popular thing we trade. Like, it's not even close. Most days USDT makes up two-thirds or more of our volume. People buy USDT in Dubai for a lot of different reasons. Some use it to move money internationally — faster than a bank wire and no questions about currency conversion. Some are traders who want to sit in dollars without actually holding dollars in a bank. And a lot of people just use it as a middle step: sell some other coin for USDT, then come to us to get cash. On the selling side, USDT to cash is probably our fastest transaction. Fifteen minutes, sometimes less. We take both TRC-20 and ERC-20 but honestly, go with TRC-20 if you can. Faster and cheaper. ERC-20 works fine too but gas fees are unpredictable and confirmations take longer.

Bitcoin (BTC) exchange

Bitcoin is the second most traded coin at our office. The crowd has changed a lot though. A few years ago it was mostly traders and crypto veterans. Now regular people come in wanting to buy bitcoin with cash in Dubai. Some of them are buying for the first time. Others have been thinking about it for months and finally pulled the trigger. We also get a lot of sellers. People who've been holding BTC since 2017 or 2018 and want to cash out some of it. The process is the same in both directions: real-time rate, you send or receive the bitcoin, cash or bank transfer on the other side. If you've been trying to figure out how to buy bitcoin in Dubai without dealing with sketchy setups, this is the straightforward version.

Ethereum (ETH) exchange

ETH is our smallest volume of the three but it's steady. The typical Ethereum client is usually coming from DeFi or cashing out NFT money. Sometimes it's someone who has a big ETH bag and wants to convert part of it to fiat for something specific, like a property purchase or a business expense. Process is the same as BTC. Send it, we confirm on the blockchain, you get paid.

USDTUSDT exchange

Tether is by far the most popular thing we trade. Like, it's not even close. Most days USDT makes up two-thirds or more of our volume. People buy USDT in Dubai for a lot of different reasons. How cryptocurrency exchange works in your city

Bank cards
Cash exchange

Walk-ins are still really common in Dubai and for amounts up to a certain size, cash is honestly the easiest way. You come to our office, we pull up the current rate, you agree, you send the crypto from your phone or laptop right there. We watch the confirmations come in. Once they clear, you get your cash. We keep AED, USD and EUR on hand so you can pick.
The wait is mostly just blockchain confirmation time. USDT on TRC-20 is like a minute. Bitcoin depends on the network but usually under fifteen minutes. Once confirmations are done, the cash is in your hands and you're out the door. For larger amounts we schedule these privately. Better rate, less waiting around, everything coordinated in advance.

Online and bank transfers

If coming to the office isn't convenient, you can do the whole thing remotely. Start the trade on our platform, send crypto to the address we give you, and we push the money to your bank account. From our end it goes out same day, every time. When it actually hits your account depends on your bank. Some banks in the UAE credit it within a few hours. Others take until next morning. More and more of our clients have been going this route lately. A year or two ago most people wanted cash. Now it's probably split 50/50.

Why Coin24

We get asked this a lot, usually by people who've already had a bad experience somewhere else.
1.
The rate is real.
It doesn't change on you mid-trade. What you see is what you get, pulled from aggregated market data — not from someone's head.
2.
Fast transactions.
Most trades close in fifteen to thirty minutes. Not hours, not "we'll call you back tomorrow."
3.
Real support.
If something comes up, you can call and talk to someone who knows what's going on. No bots, no ticket queues.
4.
Licensed and regulated.
We operate under UAE rules through VARA. Some people don't care about that until something goes wrong, and then they care a lot. Working with a regulated exchange means there's a paper trail, legal standing, and your transaction isn't happening in a grey area. The unlicensed places are cheaper sometimes. There's a reason for that and it's not generosity.
5.
Better rates for volume.
For people who trade often or trade large amounts, we offer better rates. Not a loyalty program with points and tiers — just a better rate because the volume justifies it.

FAQ

Is it safe to exchange cryptocurrency in Dubai?

At a licensed place, yes. Dubai actually has pretty strong crypto regulation through VARA and Coin24 follows all of it. But not every exchange you'll find online is licensed. Some aren't even based in the UAE. So check before you send anything.

Do I need documents to exchange crypto for cash in Dubai?

For normal amounts, just bring your passport or Emirates ID. If the amount is above a certain level, there's additional paperwork because of UAE anti-money laundering requirements. We'll tell you ahead of time what to bring so you don't show up and then have to come back.

How long does a crypto exchange take in Dubai?

USDT trades are the fastest, like ten to fifteen minutes total if you're using TRC-20. Bitcoin can take longer because of network confirmations, maybe up to thirty minutes on a busy day. Bank transfers depend on the bank after we send the money. But we process everything same day on our end, no exceptions.

What is DCA and how does the averaging strategy work?

The price of bitcoin in May 2026 went from $82,000 to $72,000 in a couple weeks. Someone who was trying to catch the perfect moment to enter was probably wrong. And someone who bought a fixed amount each week just continued on as planned. That’s the point of the DCA strategy.
